Two teams ravaged by injuries and suspensions - no BRS, no Canadians (camp or not), no Dreaded Dans and no Journalists of any haircut - battled out a record low-scoring match in a game that lasted a full hour and a quarter. It must be noted that the lack of goals was entirely down to incompetence by strikers on both teams, rather than any sterling defensive performances.

Sicknote Alex - We thought he was gone but not forgotten, but he clambered back from the WhereAreTheyNow FC treatment room and deserves a mention just for being there.

At least I had an excuse for missing the target. Not only am I rubbish in front of goal anyway, but my "they will rebuild him" ankle currently feels like a concrete spoon. Doctor, I demand a refund!
