That first result of the season just showed how the blues had strengthened their squad pre-season, while the reds had gone backwards.
The big news of course was the transfer of P.Ankles Kessen from Reds to Blues (the team he had supported as a boy), but the Blues have also signed Owen "Goal" and brought through Duggie Dug Dug from their excellent youth setup - after a few starts last season, this looks like the year that he will really break though as a first choice selection.
